Marcelle has a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education (Learning Difficulties) and Post-graduate training in Multi-sensory learning / Dyslexia Teaching. Marcelle is the fully trained in the UK nased Orton-Gillingham method.
Marcelle provides specialist screening and assessment procedures for children and adults. The highly detailed and technical reports she produces are used by clients seeking learning accommodations.
Her accurate diagnoses of Dyslexia related learning difficulties enable her to provide highly effective, tailored instruction.
She works out of dedicated premises in Colbee Court, Phillip in the ACT from Wednesdays to Saturdays. Limited places are available.
Francesca (as she now loves to be known) has been teaching for 14 years, the last 10 of which have been in remote communities in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Prior to that she was a print journalist for 20 years, so counts writing as a speciality.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in English, History and Politics, a Graduate Diploma in Children’s Literature, a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate in TESOL/ESL. Francesca is trained in Accelerated Literacy and Walking Talking Texts – two literacy development frameworks. She has also completed three courses in Italian in Italy and says this learning very much informs her teaching of English.
Francesca’s interests include ukulele, all things Italian and READING – as well as swimming and walking in our beautiful south coast environment.
Barbara holds a Masters in Special Education and a Grad. Dip of communication disorders. Barbara has extensive experience working with students of all ages and will be working mostly with our young readers.
Most of her career has been spent in Special Needs and mainstream class rooms providing learning support for both Primary and Secondary students including working in special needs units specialising in Autism.
She now spends time on her son’s farm north of Batemans Bay looking after the chickens, the very cute Jack Russell terrier called Iggy and the gardens.
Barbara comes from the small town Appollo Bay on the Great Ocean road in Victoria. She studied in Melbourne and worked for 30 years as a teacher in Canberra.
Greg has an extensive background in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. He was a casual Organic Chemistry lecturer at the University of Western Sydney for 5 years, as well as a Laboratory Supervisor for undergraduate chemistry students for 6 years. Greg has 9 years experience tutoring secondary and tertiary students across several subjects, as well as 2 years experience teaching secondary science and mathematics.
Greg graduated with distinction from the University of Western Sydney in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (Nanotechnology) and was awarded the Dean’s Medal. In 2009, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours (Class I) for his work on the synthesis of malaria drugs and was awarded the University Medal. Greg holds a PhD in Organic chemistry for studying the synthesis of Rubromycin analogues for the treatment of cancer. He also holds a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Wollongong.
Greg has lived in the Eurobodalla Shire since the start of 2014. His interests include building computers, playing bass guitar and Warhammer.
Lachlan is your first point of friendly contact at the Centre. He takes care of the day to day administration for the centre. He can make appointments for you to speak to the directors or your child’s tutor, process your payments and account enquiries, and arrange for your child to catch up on a missed session plus loads more!

After spending the last 5 years at University completing her Bachelor’s in Architecture and a Bachelor’s in Creative intelligence and Innovation. Delayne is home to help and save money for her Masters in London.
Delayne has worked as a tutor in both Primary School Mathematics, High School Writing and most recently, as a University of Technology (UTS) tutor in Architecture.
